Refund Policy

At ITINProf, we are committed to providing a service that leads to a successful ITIN outcome. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are available.

Full Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund of the service fee in the following circumstances:

• The IRS rejects your application due to an error made by ITINProf or our Certified Acceptance Agents in the preparation or submission of your application
• You cancel your application before we have begun preparing your documents (typically within 24 hours of payment and before document submission)
• We are unable to fulfill our service for any reason within our control

Partial Refund

A partial refund may be issued at our discretion if you cancel your application after preparation has begun but before submission to the IRS, and we can demonstrate that significant work has been completed. In such cases, an administrative fee may be retained.

No Refund Situations

No refund will be issued in the following situations:

• Your application has already been submitted to the IRS and has been accepted for processing
• Rejection resulted from information you provided that was inaccurate, incomplete, or fraudulent
• You do not qualify for an ITIN under current IRS eligibility rules
• You fail to respond to our requests for documents or information within 30 days, resulting in abandonment of your application
• The IRS changes its policies or requirements after your application was submitted

Refund Process

To request a refund, send an email to [email protected] with your application access code and a brief description of your reason. Where applicable, please attach the IRS rejection notice. We will review your request within 3 business days and notify you of our decision. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.

Disputes

If you disagree with our refund decision, you may escalate your concern to our management team at [email protected]. We aim to resolve all disputes fairly and promptly. Chargebacks filed with your bank or card issuer before contacting us will forfeit eligibility for any future service or cooperation on your application.

Stripe Payment Policy

All payments are processed through Stripe. Refunds issued by ITINProf will be applied back to the original payment method. Stripe's processing fees are non-recoverable and may not be included in the refunded amount in all cases.
